Kinergy Audio, operated by Wes Smith in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA, is responsible for the personal data described here. Short version: we collect as little as we can, we don't sell it, and the plugin itself never sends anything anywhere.
This website
The site uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking. It's hosted by Cloudflare, which keeps basic request logs (such as IP addresses) for security and to keep the site running.
When you buy
Paddle, our reseller and Merchant of Record, handles checkout and payment. Paddle collects your payment details; we never see your card. From Paddle we receive your name, email address, country and order details, which we use to make your license file, deliver it, handle support and refunds, and keep tax and accounting records. Beta sign-up
If you join the beta, we keep your name, email, DAW and Mac type, plus the country Cloudflare reports for your connection, to make your key file, help with problems and send your free license at launch.
Your license file
Your license file contains your name, email address and an order identifier. It stays on your computer. Kinergy reads it there and doesn't contact any server to check it.
The plugin
Kinergy doesn't collect usage data, doesn't phone home, and doesn't connect to the internet.
If you email us, we keep the conversation so we can help you. We may email you about your purchase or important updates to Kinergy. We'll only send news or offers if you ask for them, and every such email will let you stop.
Sharing
We don't sell or rent your data. We share it only with the services that make this work (Paddle for orders, Cloudflare for the website and email, our email provider) or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as tax law requires, usually up to seven years. Support emails are kept as long as they're useful for helping you.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete your personal data, or ask a question about it, at support@kinergyaudio.com. We'll answer within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under laws such as the GDPR, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes too.
